Remove/Deactivate Your Account (Delete Your Account)
Before deactivating a member account: What you should know
We recommend going through the following information before deactivating your account.
Your Subscription
If you have an active subscription, you must cancel it before deactivating your. For detailed instructions on canceling a subscription, click here.
Your Profile Visibility
After deactivating your account, it will no longer be accessible in the SagutoGolf community.
Your Content
Any content you created in the community, such as posts, comments, and messages in chat spaces and group DMs, will remain in the community even after your account is deactivated.
Loss of Your Information
Upon deactivating your account, you will lose the following:
- Course progress
- Profile field information
- Activity score
- Event RSVPs
- Moderation privileges
- Any earned member badges
Key things to know about account deactivation
- If you have an active subscription in the community, deactivating the account will automatically cancel the subscription with no refund.
- If you have multiple community accounts linked to the same email on Circle, deactivating your account in the SagutoGolf community will not impact any of your other member accounts. You can still access your active member accounts in other sites using the same login credentials.
- After deactivating your account, you will lose access to your community. However, your posted content, such as posts, comments, and messages in chat space and group DMs will remain in the community.
- Community members can view your content and one-to-one DMs with you, but they won’t be able to access your profile information.
- If this deactivation was accidental, contact us to request the reactivation of your member account. Click here to follow steps to reactivate your account.
To deactivate your account
- Click your profile photo in the upper-right corner and select Authentication.
Scroll down to the Deactivate account section and click Deactivate my account.
- In the confirmation dialog, click Deactivate again to confirm deactivating your account.
