Manage or Cancel Your Subscription

You can conveniently view and manage your membership subscription directly from your SagutoGolf community account. In this article, we will guide you through all the available options for managing your subscription.

To get started, navigate to the billing page by clicking your profile photo in the top-right corner of the community header and selecting Billing.

View subscriptions

The Subscriptions tab allows you to view all subscriptions (current and past) and access management options for each subscription. It also provides details about your installment paywall purchase.

View subscription details

To view subscription details, click the More actions (three dots) icon beside the subscription entry and select Details.

The Plan details pop-up shows the following information:

  • Plan name: The name of the paywall associated with the subscription.
  • Status: Current subscription status such as active, canceled, past due, trial, or completed (in case of installment purchase).
  • Renews on: The renewal date if the subscription is active.
  • Canceled on: The end date if the subscription is canceled.
  • Price: The price you are paying for the subscription.
  • Terms: Details of any applied coupon.
  • Payment method: Information about the payment method used, such as a credit card.
  • Spaces or space groups unlocked: The spaces or groups you have access to with this subscription.

Manage subscriptions

Depending on the paywall and its status, you will see the following options for managing your subscription:

  • Change billing cycle: If your membership offers multiple pricing options, you can switch to a different billing frequency, such as monthly to quarterly.
  • Change plan: If your membership is part of a group with multiple plan options, you can switch to another plan within that group, such as “Basic membership” to “Premium membership.”
  • Upgrade: This option is available if you are currently on a trial subscription and wish to upgrade to a different plan within the group.
  • Cancel subscription: This option is available when you have an active subscription. It's important to note that, based on the admin's membership settings, you might have to reach out to the admin to cancel your subscription.
  • Restart subscription: You can restart a subscription that is set to be canceled but it still has time remaining in the current billing period.
  • Renew subscription: If your subscription has been canceled and is no longer active, you have the option to renew it.

ℹ️ Note: When you change plans or upgrade your trial subscription to a different subscription plan, please note that your renewal date will be adjusted to match the new plan. For instance, if your current billing cycle renews on the 10th of the month and you change your plan to a different monthly subscription plan on the 15th, the new renewal date will be the 15th of every month going forward.

Change billing cycle

  1. Click the More actions (three dots) icon next to the subscription and select Change billing cycle.

    Select new pricing and click Next.

    If you have a coupon code, click Add coupon code to enter the code, and then click Apply.

    • Important: If you already applied a coupon for your initial purchase and it's still valid, it will transfer to the new billing cycle. However, if you decide to apply a new coupon instead, it will override the previously applied coupon.
  2. Review prorated charges or credits, if applicable, and the amount due information.

  3. Click Confirm change.

Change plan

  1. Click the More actions (three dots) icon next to the subscription and select Change Plan.

    Select the new membership plan and click Next.

    Select the billing cycle for the new plan and click Next.

    If you have a coupon code, click Add coupon code to enter the code, and then click Apply.

    • Important: If you applied a coupon for your initial purchase and it's still valid, it will transfer to the new subscription plan, provided the coupon is configured to be applicable for all paywalls or the specific paywall you are upgrading or downgrading to. However, if you decide to apply a new coupon instead, it will override the previously applied coupon.
  2. Review prorated charges or credits, if applicable, and the amount due information.

  3. Click Confirm change.

Upgrade Subscription

When you sign up for a trial of a recurring membership subscription, you can switch to a different billing cycle within the same membership or opt for a new membership plan for added flexibility.

ℹ️ Note: The option to upgrade your trial will only appear if there are multiple pricing options for the subscription or paywall memberships available within the subscription group. For example, if the paywall has only one pricing option and it’s not part of the group, you won’t see the option to upgrade your subscription.

Cancel subscription

You can cancel your active subscription anytime from your billing page. Depending on the admin's membership configurations, you may need to contact the community admin to cancel your subscription.

❗ Important: If you have purchased your membership on an installment plan, you will need to contact your community admin to request the cancelation of your upcoming payments.

ℹ️ Note: Once you confirm the cancelation, your subscription will be set to expire at the end of your current billing cycle, and you'll be able to access all the membership content until then.

To cancel a subscription, follow these steps:

  1. Click the More actions (three dots) icon next to the subscription and select Cancel.

  2. Click Confirm cancelation.

Restart subscription

If you would like to resume a subscription that was canceled but is still active with time remaining on the current billing period:

  1. Click the More actions (three dots) icon next to the subscription and select Restart subscription.
  2. Click Restart subscription to confirm the change.

Renew subscription

If you would like to renew your membership subscription that was canceled and is no longer active:

  1. Click the More actions (three dots) icon next to the subscription and select Renew subscription.
  2. You will be taken to the membership checkout page.
  3. Choose the pricing plan and add your payment information.
  4. Click Pay to complete the checkout.
