Upgrade Subscription

When you enroll in a trial for a recurring membership subscription, you have the flexibility to upgrade to a different billing cycle within the same membership or a new membership plan. In this guide, we will walk you through the steps to make changes to your trial subscription.

There are two changes you can make when upgrading the trial subscription depending on the membership price and plan availability:

• Change billing cycle: If the trial you are currently subscribed to has multiple pricing options, you have the flexibility to change the billing cycle. For example, changing from a monthly to a yearly billing cycle.

  • ℹ️ Note: When you upgrade to a new billing cycle within the same membership plan, you will only be charged at the end of the trial period, allowing you to use your remaining trial duration.

    Change plan: When you have subscribed to a membership that is part of a subscription group, you can upgrade or downgrade to a different membership plan. For example, changing from basic community membership to premium community membership.

  • ℹ️ Note: When changing your subscription to a different membership plan, it’s important to take note of the following. 
  • Your trial days from the current subscription will end immediately. If your new plan also has trial days, it won’t apply when you upgrade from the current trial subscription.
  • Once you have confirmed the upgrade, you will be charged immediately, and the new plan will be activated.

Upgrade subscription

1. To begin, click your profile photo in the community header and select Billing.

2. On the Subscriptions tab, click Upgrade beside the subscription entry. Alternatively, you can click the More actions (three dots) icon beside the subscription and select Upgrade.

   

3. Select plan: If your current trial subscription is part of a subscription group, you can change your membership subscription plan to a different one. To do so, select the new plan from the list.

   

4. Choose billing cycle: If your plan has multiple billing cycle (pricing) options, select your preferred new billing cycle.

   

5. (Optional) If you have a coupon code, click Add coupon code and enter it to apply the discount.

6. Add a payment method and review your charge details.

   

7. Click Confirm change.
